City of Danville officials and the Red Cross are issuing an urgent reminder that the holiday season is one of the times that the need for blood and blood products goes up, while donations historically fall off strongly. One week from tomorrow, that's December 15th, the bloodmobile will be in town for an afternoon blood drive. It will be parked in front of City Hall and the Police station from noon to 5pm. If you'd like to make an appointment to donate, call Joyce Collins or Donna Peek at 859-236-1200. Walk-ins are always welcome.
