Today is the day, 9 a.m.! The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways says traffic will switch to the new US 27 in Garrard County. We've been telling you about this for a while, traffic moves to the middle section of the new roadway. For local traffic, there will be four access points, and from north to south, they are: Connector 2, Canoe Creek Road, Kentucky 1355/Mt. Hebron Road and Sutton Lane. The intersection with Kentucky 152 won't be open. Motorists from Kentucky 152 will access the new US 27 at Connector 2. Guiding signage will be in place to get you to and from Kentucky 152 and US 27. Speeds will be reduced to 45 miles an hour.
