Kentucky State Police now say it was 31 year old Kevin Butler of Harrodsburg who ran a red light more than a week ago and killed a 17 year old girl. Police said that Butler was driving an SUV a Green Wilson Road and US 127 and slammed in to Trista Shoemaker's car, as she made a left onto the highway. Shoemaker died at the scene. Her 15 year old sister was taken to Frankfort Regional Medical Center to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. Butler went to the UK Medical Center for treatment.
