Lincoln County law enforcement officials said a woman's body was found in a pond here on Saturday. The coroner's office said 48 year old Tammy Toadvine Johnson's body was pulled from the pond on Bowen Road just before 8 p.m. Property owner JT Crowe got home just after 6 p.m. and found the body in the pond. He told investigators that Johnson had stayed at his place on occasion and that she went swimming several times last week. Police are investigating the death as an accident.
