Drug Comapnies Want No Script for Cold Drug

A representative of drug companies has asked that Kentucky not pass a law that requires people getting pseudoephadrine to have prescription. The drug industries said it would be better to create a registry of those convicted of meth crimes, banning them from buying pseudoephadrine, which is the main ingredient in methamphetamine. Those who know, say that people who want the legal drug to make the illegal drug do not come and buy it themselves. Kentucky lawmakers debated the issue this year, but did not pass it.
