A Kentucky man has received a key to a city that's more than 1,000 miles away.

Jack Strunk lives in Garrard County, but recently grabbed the attention of Laredo, Texas. He defended the border town on Youtube after a viral video first bashed the area and its people. Strunk, who lived in Laredo before moving back home to Kentucky, says he only posted the video because he thought it was right. Along with naming Monday for the Kentucky man, Laredo official also served up some of his favorite tex-mex food.
