Governor Steve Beshear wants the feds to hurry up with the federal disaster declaration that he requested from the President, so that funding can come to the commonwealth quickly that will help people get their lives back together. He said Kentucky has been so damaged by weekend storms, that there's no doubt the commonwealth will qualify for federal disaster aid. Beshear said with the letter he's sent to should get FEMA dollars flowing here soon.
