On Thursday, governor Steve Beshear's office announced that a newly-formed subsidiary of Virginia-based Metaformers Inc. has opened an operation in Kentucy. CirrusMio will open an office in Frankfort to begin development of a cloud-based software program geared toward public sector clients. Governor Beshear welcomed CirrusMio and promised there will be more technology companies and more high-tech jobs coming to the Commonwealth. The company is set to receive $100,000 to help fund the project, with the money coming from the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority.
