Senator Mitch McConnell visited the Campbellsville Apparel Company this morning, touring the factory that manufacture undershirts and briefs for the military and meeting with employees whose jobs he helped save when the company was threatened with losing work to federal prisoners. Following Senator McConnell’s intervention last month, Federal Prison Industries announced it would no longer pursue the contract currently held by Campbellsville Apparel for manufacturing t-shirts for soldiers.
